On vacation just outside of Tampa so I was lucky enough to go to game 1. Seemed to me that the ice got real slushy pretty fast every period. The wings came out every period clearly faster for like the first 7-8 minutes and then seemed to lose that advantage.

Two things I noticed being there

1. TB was mugging Larkin the second he would come on the ice every shift.
2. Zetterberg was trailing the action every shift. Is he hurt or just lost that much quickness?

Larkin has no protection. Zetterberg never was a burner and you don't get faster with age.

Yeah, I'm just a casual fan so I'm not real familiar with the skill levels of the players. I just find it odd that the captain looked like the slowest skater every time he was out there.

Yeah close to criminal how they were mugging Larkin and guys were falling all over the place . That ice is pretty disgraceful. I wish we were just a bigger stronger tesm. Hopefully we get a big push back tonight.

Agreed. It seemed like Abdelkader was the only guy that was remotely physical.

Just got to my PC - just wanted to say Drouin is quickly becoming one of my most hated players on the Lightning...such a smug looking face, and is a little bitch!

Love the intensity thus far, but the PK has got to do a better job clearing the zone - Go wings!!!
