Where to bat,Infante. He has 121 ab's in the 2 spot .273; 87 ab's in the 5 spot .230; 55 ab's in the 6 spot,.357; 61 ab's .344 in the 7 spot; and 4 ab's in the 9 spot .500' o yea.

But really where does he bat and how does the Tigers set up there lineup now? Bat him second and Berry 9th to set up a double lead off setup?

Bat him 6th? Boesch is hot now!
Bat him 7th Peralta's best spot and he's a hitting now!?
9th as of late and that spot has been a little weak and would not mess up the rest of the lineup.
IMO he needs to bat 9th as the Tigers line up is got it going right now. And that spot needs a batter right now.

Leyland stated during the conference call that Infante will bat 2nd against lefties, didnt state where he would bat against righties.

7th seems about right, low OBP, so don't want him in front of Cabrera, but has solid pop and average.

Adds depth to the lineup, which is needed.

low obp = great 2-hole hitter in leyland logic.

7/8/9..somewhere in there. Unless Berry falls off.

He has a .300+ OBP over the last 19 games..I'm not ready to say he's fallen off a cliff just yet.

Not like Infante's OBP is super high.

Berrys is .361 over the season and .305 over the last 19 games...

Infantes is .312 on the season and .309 over the last 17 games.

I don't mind Berry for now. We were all clamoring for some defense next to AJ so I don't mind that he's a light hitter. Not like we have anyone who could take his spot. At least until Dirks comes back and hopefully he still hits.
