Graham Glasgow is dressed for Lions practice today and going through some offensive line reps. Looks like it could be another scare averted for Detroit (Darius Slay and Marvin Jones both suffered slight injuries earlier in camp but ended up being fine). Still worth monitoring how much Glasgow does today.

Joint practices does no good.

For one, I disagree. I think there's a lot of benefit to go against the variety another team brings to the field.

Can you be more specific as to why you think they lack value?

The other teams doesn't care if one of you guy gets hurt. Calling plays from a playoff and maybe a few weeks later you play them in a real game. Not sure we play the Giants or even if they use the same playbook as the regular season.

I guess if one of our guys get injured vs your own team it stinks but vs another team -. You can control how your team hits in camp, but you have no control over another. That's what I gather.

Not going to get better going after the same people every single day. I feel joint practices are needed more the opportunity to actually get better, that the rewards greatly outweigh the risk. How many players get hurt practicing against their own team? Football is football and they risk injury every time they go on the field, be it vs there own team or another.
