Lions host RB Justin Forsett and now sign Forsett

8.25 yr. vet RB, who has avg ~450 yds/season, Barry Sanders sized w/o the speed, burst, and elusiveness..ie..an ideal Lions' warm-body signing.

4.8 ypc career. He still has gas in the tank. Lions better not let him out of the building. We need him.

he's garbage, but if Washington is out for an extended period of time, I guess it wouldn't hurt.

Zenner isn't ready to play real games, I don't see the real negative. He would be cheap, couldn't be worse, and can be a 1 year player.

Older, but low mileage.

I don't care who we bring in... someone has to run the ball and we don't have many warm bodies left. It's really him, Zac Stacy, or Trent Richardson left out there... so he's certainly head and shoulders above the rest of the trash.

Work him out, couldn't hurt.

don't forget about Ray Rice

He's not garbage lol. He's 2 years removed from a career year and Pro Bowl appearance. Smart player that we could definitely use.

He's not garbage, but he's had about 1 or 2 good years since he started in 2008. He probably has a year left on his tread.

yes...2 years removed from his one good year and Baltimore threw him away like garbage.

It might still be a good signing to add depth...but he isn't good.

He's never really had the opportunity to start his whole career. Have you ever seen who he had in front of him? Go look before you call the guy garbage lol. Then when he finally got the opportunity to start, he went off. Baltimore went with the youth movement. West is running well and they love Dixon. It happens. He's a good back....

Zenner doesnt belong on an nfl team. If washington cant go then its an upgrade over zenner.

Sidenote....kick the tires on that top 10 pick guard that NE dropped this week. Time for competition for Tomlinson.

Zenner's ok. He's a load and he has good hands. He definitely belongs. Is he a starter? 100% no. Forsett could bring some giddyup to this offense. I don't see him walking out the doors without a deal.

And that Guard you're talking about.....Jonathan Cooper.

I see the RB position in 2 molds...one of them is definitely a thumper...which is fine. The problem with Zenner is hes nothing. He runs straight ahead and falls down the second someone touches him. And hes not beating anyone when running routes. Washington is just a better version of him in every shape and form. Forsett brings value in a number of other ways....and in our offense...probably should be on the field over Zenner 100% of the time.

Our numbnuts OC has zenner on the field for a 3rd n 4. Which is fine if hes called to block. But we sent him into the flat?! Why the hell was Riddick not in the game for that?

Our coaches just baffle me...personel decisions, playcalling, clock management.....all of it.

From what I have seen of him...he isn't very good. But like I said...it's not like the Lions have a bunch of good RBs that are ready to play.

Zenner moves pile. Tons of bad blocking for him yesterday. Zenner has done good things receiving too

Wouldn't hurt to have another decent back like Forsett. Riddick doesn't have a backup. Lions have two thumpers in Washington and Zenner
