Lions lowball George Johnson Bucs sign him to 3 year offer sheet

I never said "im always right"....I said tell me what I said that was wrong. Something you continue to fail at.

You are wrong every time. I've proven it. 11-5.
Loaded on the Dline, LB and secondary. Loaded with weapons, good young Oline base with Warford, Reiff, Swanson and Waddle) just need some health and a good QB (who has had the stats and proved he can win). You couldn't be more wrong hughes.

Plus you are clueless to contract stuff.

2011 it was tight against the cap and we wanted to get some free agents which we did (Tulloch, Durant, Wright, Houston). It paid off for playoffs. That meant Avril stayed on the cheaper 2nd year tender. There was no negotiating either with the lockout until August. Avril has a big year in 2011 and we properly franchise him. We offer him 10 per, he doesn't take it. Mayhew did nothing wrong in this scenario.

Suh. Again restructures were needed in 2012 and 2013. Tight cap, dealing with old CBA rookie deals and we wanted free agents (Quin, Levy, Bush) or in 2012 (to keep our own good players, Backus, Tulloch, Avril, Levy restricted, Shaun Hill etc). The cap then went up and we handled 22 million 2014 cap number with ease. And then we offered him 17 per. Suh got greedy and took 19 per. It's Suh's right but doesn't mean Mayhew did anything wrong.

Doug Hogue. Every GM has a failed 5th round pick. Even the good ones. Being smart enough to follow that up with Whitehead is a great move. Whitehead proved you wrong, he was a good player. We are stacked and deep at LB. Shut your mouth hughes.

Schwartz extension. We had just made the playoffs in a long time. This was before the 2012 season. Right time to extend him so he's not a lame duck during the 2012 season. Correct move by Mayhew, just didn't work out as the coaches got too comfortable, the DEs surprisingly regressed, weapons and secondary was very injured and the turnovers mounted (thanks Linehan predictability and weapon injuries/issues). At the time, proper move to extend him.

Suhs restructures were the right call. We offered 17 per. Suh is greedy 19 per overpay. Ngata is a great addition.

Can easily franchise ngata too. His cap number won't be 20 million though we could absorb that

He will be a 20 mil cap hit...he was counting 16 mil to baltimore

Only 8.5 for us. And 20 million is something we could handle. Mayhew said they will talk extension though. Maybe not an issue.
He's not on Baltimore right now. 8.5 is what he counts. It might be the normal DT franchise number since his cap number changed.

... with every single time one of these guys says "I am always right" in some fashion or another, I become more and more convinced they are the same person.

First of all, don't steal my thunder!!! I've been saying they're the same person for months now. EXACT same approach.....opposite views. Both trolls.

Secondly, they "both" get new material tomorrow night. Whoever we draft at #23 will both be a sure future HOF'er.........and a bust.......all before their first camp practice.

At least the material will be new, though.

I'm more excited for that fight than I am for Mayweather/Pacquiao!!!!

Mayhew not Xanders gets the praise.

Ebron you jumped the gun. You could eat some crow this year on him.

How? I said he would produce this year. Only way id eat crow is if he sucked again. Why do you want him to suck? Stop being such a negative nancy.

You called him a bust already and bashed Mayhew unjustly already when you don't truly judge until year 2 and beyond. He'll produce. Stop being a moron

Ive never used the word "bust" for any pick ever.... nice try negative nancy.

Ps....weve heard that story when you used to say it about Broyles every year. Theres very real reasons why he will never live up to or produce like a top 10 pick should. You just fail to understand them cause your not very good at understanding football. Youre only good at understanding what a homer is.

Broyles is talented. Clearly you don't understand football. It was 3 injuries. Ebron is healthy and will produce and can live up to the top 10 pick in year 2 and beyond. Stop being a negative nancy.

Broyles could still come back Hughes

#believe

He's talented. They give him a year of rest because we could with Tate in the mix. Finally heathy and not rehabbing. Year 4 Broyles. Can't wait.

Should be wrapping up his HoF career by then.

It'll be amazing to watch Stafford with 3 HoF WRs and 1 HoF TE.

Unstoppable

Not enough balls to go around. Two 1,000 yard WRS and a matchup nightmare TE. Top 5 offense for 2015.
