What is funny is what some really don't realize about the PS signing at this particular time is it will just give the Lions 1st dibs on him next season if he shows to have enough ability to make it in the NFL. Also was very surprising to hear he was actually disappointed in the 4.22 time stating he ran 4.1 in several recent in workouts before the Lions tryout.

That IS one thing you CANNOT teach a player is raw SPEED. Can the new Lions staff improve on his other abilities enough to make the team next season? No idea but taking a flyer on just the SMALL chance they can is worth it considering the amount of work the team needs.
