San Fran playing well , but the Lions are rolling...Calvin scores twice.

Lions win 27 - 24

Alex Smith hasnt had any terrible games yet this year, he is due. Alex Smith is extremely inconsistent(or has been). Looks tremendous one game, then terrible the next. Im going Lions 27 49ers 6, with Smith having a terrible game.

Mitch]I'm not worried about him but the RB.

AP couldnt beat the Lions, so Im guessing Gore wont either(hope not anyway). Im expecting a one sided game.

My guess is that the biggest impact for the 49ers vs Lions is Vernon Davis. That guy might catch a ton of balls with Smith having to get the ball out quick.

Mitch]It might be and I hope. But you still have to be weary of him.

Wary before, hopefully not weary after.

Josh Morgan broke his ankle on one of the final plays of the game.

I'm not a 49ner believer, so the lions should win this one. 28-17

Only way I see them winning is if gore runs for 150.

Its monsters favorite vs his 2nd favorite team haha

lol i hope the lions win 60-0

the like i have for SF and Oak is nothing compared to the love I have for the Lions.

I'm still not quite sure about the Niners. One could say they've had an easy schedule as we've had.

Seattle, Dallas, Cinnci, Phili, and Tampa Bay.

I'm wondering if TB was their breakout game to be honest. No doubt the presence of Jim Harbaugh has helped turn that franchise around, especially Alex Smith. Smith is going to be entering the Lions game with a passer rating of 104.1 (higher than Stafford) and a TD/INT of 7-1. Frank Gore has been consistent this year, which is providing a real dual threat on the offense. Niners lost their top WR in Josh Morgan, but the real threat in the air so far has been Vernon Davis.

Their defense is pretty scary... secondary can be included as well. Average QB rating is 75.4 against them, ours is 79.5. Both teams have 12 sacks recorded. Detroit has given up 6, SF 14.

Other stat that I picked out to be meaningful for this game is TFL's. SF has 14 stops, while giving up 25. Det has 14 while giving up 15. At this juncture, there's a good chance we'll get 2 extra TFL's, which hopefully can translate into a punt situation.

I'm almost afraid to give a prediction on this game. I hope the Niners are due for a bad game, but I'll go 28-21
