[quote="Maize&Cheese304":fnb76m8o]I'm not a 49ner believer, so the lions should win this one. 28-17

Only way I see them winning is if gore runs for 150.

Its monsters favorite vs his 2nd favorite team haha

lol i hope the lions win 60-0

the like i have for SF and Oak is nothing compared to the love I have for the Lions. [/quote:fnb76m8o]

I'm that way with the pats. I'm kinda curious about how much ill like them once brady retires.

I usually root for the lions too. Big calvin fan, and saw stafford throw for that winning score when he hurt his shoulder. Loved that.

Might have to stop if they keep winning though lol.

Most preseason predictions that I read had the Lions as being an "improved" team, but obviously none would have predicted them to be undefeated this far into the season. 8-8 or possibly 9-7, was what I and many others that I read felt was a realistic and achievable goal, but that was BEFORE Leshoure was lost for the season, and then I figured that it might cost the team a game or two.

But I don't remember seeing/reading anything about the 49ers being VASTLY improved, ala the Bills either, so although this no longer can be considered a "trap" game, the 49ers are indeed/definitely a very real threat to the Lions undefeated record, being 4-1, just sooo hard to get rid of my long/deeply-ingrained fear that the Lions will get fucking trounced in one of their upcoming games (other than by the Packers who obviously have had that ability) ....heh!!

Tougher game than anticipated for the Lions. 49ers can run the ball and stop the run(haven't had a 100 yard rusher in 27 games). Backus has problems with Justin Smith. 49ers secondary overachieving IMO. Carlos Rogers has 3 picks this year. Thats how they crushed the Bucs, 2 early picks.

Morgan and Edwards are out but Davis,Crabtree and Gore are still enough to move the ball. Ginn on reverses and returns as well.

Lions better bring it and not take the 4-1 49ers lightly no matter who they beat.

Have the Lions fumbled the ball yet? Besides the 4 INT from Stafford not sure I've seen another turnover.

I see Staff throw those int's in the first half of games and think of Willie Beamen from "any given sunday" throwing up and then being fine for the rest of the game. I don't know how this game is gonna turn out.

I see a low score.....Det 17- SF-13

i would love to see this. Would show some versatility and grit if we can pound out a win vs a very physical team and the defense steps up to win the game. 17-10 would be even better!

34-10 Lions

We finally play in the first half and prove we are a dominate team.

Yeah, I'm thinking this is gonna be one of the more "boring" games we play this year with yards being harder to come by.

27-17
Lions do enough to contain Gore and put lots of pressure on Alex Smith.

best fumbled

Lions 42
Niners 17

Sure the Niners are tough against the run, but they are weak against the pass. I'm trusting Schwartz & Co will have come to recognize the error of their ways from Mondays game where they had several late drives stall because they abandoned the passing game altogether in the name of running out the clock, but as a result gave Chicago a glimmer of hope. Instead they will look to score TDs and squash all hope. Plus Megatron was NOT happy that they didn't throw to him at the end of the game when he had single coverage inside the 30 and therefore did not get his 2nd TD. I look for him to get 3 TDs to return his average to 2 per game as the coaches say a mia culpa. Niners will not have an answer for Megatron, but eventually will try to double cover him leaving others wide open. Look for Young and Nate to also get TDs, and with everyone looking for the pass, Best will break another nice run for a TD. With the score getting out of hand, Niners revert to passing more than running and the DL has their best game of the year to date, including Fairley getting his 1st sack which will feel so nice, he'll do it twice.
