Coming off the bye on the road to a Bears team that could be coming off a loss to Philly.

Forte runs wild........

27 - 23 Bears.

Bears have a short week and the Lions have two weeks to prepare.

Lions 27 Bears 17

I have a 6 game road win streak going....and will be in Chi town Sunday...we gotta win

I hope that "short week" stuff holds weight in this case. And I hope it's a 3OT dogfight between the bears and eagles tonight. Don't know what to make of this game because I thought we would split with them before the season started, and still kind of feel that way. They got what it takes to win so I think it would take a fuck up job like the 49er game to lose it.

Forte tweaking a hammy wouldn't be so bad.....nothing serious of course, just a one week injury, LOL

Can't have 3OT in the NFL coel...

Lions are road warriors this season so far, relishing sticking it to the hometown team in front of its fans, and other than their TGD game vs the very probably still undefeated Packers, I think that this team is obv. much more likely to win games remaining on the road than @home. The only other game that I am concerned with is which one, if any, near the end of the season, might be a clinching playoff game, home or road.

Since the Lions have more home games remaining between @ Bears next, and @ Packers in Week 17, it most likely will be a home game that they must win to clinch, unless of course it comes down to the final game, but looking at how the other NFC divisions are performing, other than the teams leading each one, all the Lions might really have to do is play 4-4 or more likely 5-3 football the rest of the way and they will be in the playoffs. Going 3-5 or less...well...better luck next season, probably. They hold the tie-breakers vs both the Bucs and Cowboys, and the Falcons hold it over the Lions, BUT the Eagles are the only team that might shut the Lions out of the playoffs, IF they play mostly winning football for the rest of the season like they were expected to @ the start.

I think that the Lions will win vs @ Bears in a close game by 7, 28-21 in OT, but Young will catch a near the end of first OT, TD pass to win it, not CJ, who will get one during regulation. If they can beat the Bears, then the Bears will be that much closer to being out of the playoff picture, and all but done in the NFCN, regardless of the outcome of their MNF game tonight. Must win for both teams but much moreso for the Bears, IMO.

Yeah, I know, just a way of saying I hope they beat the hell out of each other to the point of the game taking forever, leaving them looking like Stafford did the last few minutes of the 49er game.

We're coming off a bye, they'll be coming off a short week after a hard hitting Monday night game. This is a huge advantage for the Lions.

Lions 27 Bears 17

I might have to downgrade my score now that Kevin "Slippery Slope" Smith is back.

Long wait for another game with a bye week, this must be what it is like each and every year for fans of usually season to season contending NFL teams such as the Steelers, Patriots, Packers, ect...in the internet age, b/c the last time that the Lions were halfway-decent to mediocre, most fans were still using dial-up to get online and the internet wasn't nearly as mature/developed for browsing outside of being captives of AOL, ect... as it soon became, post turn of the century, when broadband really began to take off.

Still remember the literally hundreds of disks that would come in the mail in magazines, ect.. from AOL when it began to die, b/c of people switching from dial up. I kept my MSN dialup account active for the first few years of having a cable connection, b/c I was selling on eBay and needed to have a connection active in case of power failure, using the phone-line and my laptops charged battery + spare which esp. helped me during the NE US power outage of August '03.

Thing thats slightly scary is the bears oline has been much improved since early in the year. Pressuring cutler will be key...we need him to make mistakes.

They're just throwing quicker passes.

Wow, Eagles just dug themselves into a 3-5 first-half hole, buh-bye playoffs even with a long winning streak in the second half, need to go 5-3 just to finish @ .500 haha!!
