Looting and violence in NC

Debate at University of Michigan on Black Lives Matter shut down by Black Lives Matter. Protestors shouted down anyone other than themselves who attempted to speak and then one BLM protester complained about the lack of dialogue - classic. Of course, the Freep calls them "Student Protestors"

from another article:
The editor of the school’s newspaper wrote on Facebook that he believes the university is going out of its way to hinder student’s freedom of speech as well as “their right to assemble and engage in political speech, especially in such an acrimonious and divisive election cycle.”

But the editor is probably a racist Republican - since the editor of the UofM student newspaper is probably usually Republican.

As for the polemics circling the university, I speculate that they could originate from any and all sources for varying reasons.

That's true and I'm sure the University in constantly encircled in polemics of one form or another. However, in this case the source is unambiguous - it was BLM protesters shouting down a planned debate and then complaining about a lack of open dialogue.

I'm talking about the flyers and circulars that are being distributed. Could be the opposition or the same side fomenting the opposition's case for the purposes of making it bigger than it really is. I would not not consider that.

It's worthy of consideration but very difficult to determine from 600 miles away. All I have to go on is what I read in online news. It's reasonable to be skeptical, but it's not unreasonable that it happened as reported - it fits the pattern pretty well.
