DEEPER DISCUSSIONS.
Totally Tigers
Through Friday?s games, the Tigers sit in last place in the AL Central.
Their winning percentage ranks them third worst in all of MLB.
Starting with next year?s draft lottery, the rules are changing. No longer will the worst team be selecting first. The 6 worst teams will be picking via a lottery system.
The 3 worst teams will have a 16.5 % chance of picking first.
After that, the 4th worst will have a 13.25%, the 5th a 10% and the 6th a 7.5% chance of selecting first.
Currently, the Tigers have the best percentage chance of selecting before other teams.
Should the team aim for finishing within the top 3 worst teams so they can pick higher? Or should they finish the year playing to the best of their ability to help them determine how they plan for next year?
Today?s blog addresses this dilemma and allows readers to share their thoughts in more detail. And hopefully, to actively engage with others by responding to their posts and creating back-and-forth discussion threads. The more the merrier!
For this one blog only, you?ve got 6 sentences max to share your thoughts.
Of course, you can respond to as many other readers as you want.
TT will supply the ammunition. One thought-provoking question. Several options provided. One hard choice to be selected. One vote.

What should the Tigers' strategy be for finishing out the year?
1. Aim to finish in bottom 3 to enhance draft order.
2. Play to the best of their ability in preparation for next year.
