Magglio Ordonez will be out for the rest of the post season for the Tigers, because of the reoccurring ankle trouble.

No Roster move has been announced yet.

No I am serious its for real news I just don't have a link available.

Leyland mentions he don't know how he will replace Magglio on the roster just yet. This is however a great opportunity for us to show how tough we are. Also mentioned he doesn't know how Ordonez aggravated the injury; said that as recently as a couple of days ago, it was feeling great.

According to Buster Olney "Technically, Delmon Young could be added (although I'm not sure they would consider it, given nature of his injury)."

Bye-bye Maggs, & he has my heartfelt thanks, especially for my '06 ALCS Game 4 memories, since he very likely already has played his last game ever as a Tiger @ CoPa last week.

I think I'd start Kelly in LF and Raburn in RF and see what happens. Santiago can man 2B and we can roll with Cringe at 3B.

Not as big of a loss as Delmon was IMO.. His Slugging was terrible and the GIDP was the worst AB of the night.. If this is his last game as a Tiger, we certainly should celebrate his career with the team, but this year was certainly in one of decline for him.. He did start heating up a little bit, but his lack of power was a liability.. Dirks hopefully can pick up his loss..
