Bottoming is a process ...that said, I?ve never seen a worse speech from a sitting President during a time of crisis and I?ve never seen the Dow bomb 1000pts in the futures markets as a POTUS speaks.

I?ve now essentially got the next month ?off? as my travel has been restricted and partner firms/clients put policies in place to ?safeguard? employees.

Too bad we don?t have a CDC anymore or normal govt resources to handle such a pandemic.

But the scariest words anyone can say are "I'm from the government and I'm here to help" I thought?!?!?


I'd way rather hear "I'm from Boeing," or "I'm from Comcast"... or "I'm from Wells Fargo" or "I'm from Enron"... the Private sector will provide testing kits and vaccines that everyone can afford eventually. And arrange quarantines and travel restrictions to halt the person-to-person spread of the virus. Just give it time!
And cut taxes.

So when the market is down 17% in 3 weeks and we hear the bottoms in and then we sell off another 13% in 2 days, it’s called a process. How much more of the process do we have left? Or is that just what you say when you posted someone else’s opinion (that contradicted the persons opinion you posted the day before) and it turned out to be wrong? It’s a process.

By the way, the market isnt selling off because of Trumps speech, it’s selling off because of the actions we are taking. What “normal” government resources are we lacking? How many pandemics have you been through that you know what “normal government resources” are. Exactly how bad was the speech? He finally gave the chicken littles what they wanted. How is that the worst speech you’ve ever seen?

And if Trump closed the border 2 or 3 weeks ago, would you be on here crediting him for safeguarding the nation and avoiding the coronavirus or would you be on here saying you’ve never seen a more racist president taking unnecessary precautions and causing panic and hysteri that way? is it that hard? Seems pretty obvious the ban is on all the open border countries who freely admitted people without testing and now have the highest incidence rates for corona virus, like Italy. EU officials were insistent that no border controls would be imposed because globalism will always be more important to the dipshits who run the EU than protecting Europeans from a global pandemic. Russia on the other hand, closed it's border back in January. So let's look at the numbers. Italy has >15k reported cases and >1k deaths, Spain has >3k cases, 86 deaths, Germany has almost 3k cases, just 5 deaths. Russia has reported a whopping 20 cases (mostly Russians returning from Italy), most have already recovered and 0 have died. Hmmmm...how did they come up with this plan?

Maybe it's not a half-assed travel ban and they actually make decisions after considering facts and data, something you either purposely avoid or are too lazy to seek out. So who is the dip shit? It's you.

So, is it really that hard to see how they came up with it or is it just another case where you ignore pesky little things like facts so you can get more and more outraged then run to your keyboard to scream about how virtually everything the administration does is the worst possible thing they could do? Do you really think anyone believes that if the administration had initiated an all-out travel ban that you wouldn't be here lampooning them for their unnecessary overreaction?
