Martin Mayhew looking forward to Ryan Broyles' offseason

This is a family board.

I don't know how Ross is a returner on this team next year. Surely they can find someone better.

Ross did nothing to help the return game this year.

I am looking forward to Ryan Broyles off-season as well. I'm just not sure there is any reason at all to look forward to his in-season any more.

But during the off-season, he's a superstar in the making. He doesn't fall apart until he puts the pads on. So the off-season is when I prefer to think of him too.

Mayhew lied on that one lmao. Stafford can't even get his tight ends the ball, much less a third receiver. They had plenty of chances to let him prove something in games and Staff won't so much as look his way. I hope he catches fire this offseason but realistically I think he's gonna have to go somewhere that needs a number 2 and he'll get the chance he needs to prove himself there.

Can they do a package deal with the Raiders? Give them our R1, Ross, Broyles, and if need be Sims or Jones for their R1? Only way I think Mayhew doesn't screw up a draft pick is if it is a top 5.

Even Madden would veto that trade.

Can we trade him to Dallas for a 1st a 3rd and a swap of 6th and 7th?

After Dez didn't complete the process, he needs an "elite" WR to compliment him, and Broyles was an NCAA record holder and all...

Didn't we end up with Pettigrew and Derek Williams? Hmmm .... I'll stick with Broyles.

Yep, we were the kid who conned our neighbor into paying us $100 to rake the leaves... and then blew it all on bubblegum and Garbage Pail Kids trading cards.

Brought it a steal of a haul, ended up with nothing to show for it.

So you're telling me my mint condition Screaming Mimi isn't worth anything?

I honestly have no idea.. but damn I would hope it is. If you actually kept on to a mint condition card all these years (and yes I sense sarcasm), you would deserve all the coin it is worth, and I would hope it would buy you a new car or more bro.

One could argue the Pettigrew pick is even worse, I doubt the Lions sign him after his rookie contract had he been drafted elsewhere.
