Get StartedFigured they would at the end of the season..but guess it really doesn't matter.
I'm off the Cooter hate bandwagon. I think it's more Patricia - he's the dang freaking HC. They can call plays too. They can say do this or that too. He can not practice in the freaking ice and snow for an indoor game.
They defense is way better. They had zero help from the offense today. The defense give this offense stop after stop and at 16-13 with the ball the offense and Stafford fumbled yet again. Jbc should and hopefully will be gone.
Way better? No. They both stink.
Mitch I think you are wrong here. Defense gave the offense plenty of chances to win.
It was 16-13 midway through the fourth quarter. Patrica’s defense gave Jbc, Matt, and the offense plenty of chances to get a lead and win. After that Fumble by Stafford the Rams only had to go 3 plays 24 yards on a short field to go up 23-13..
The Lions got a field goal instead of a td at the 3:59 mark to cut the lead to 23-16. Sadly last td came on a 5 play 45 yard drive at the end. I think the defense needs a lot that is for sure but they played hard yesterday and the offense again scored less then 20 points.
If we get a few pieces on defense and hopefully a new Oc next year maybe with a weaker schedule we can make some noise next season!
If Matt is the qb next season which it looks like he will be I would not be surprised if they do not resign Tate. Espically if he struggles in Philadelphia.
Matt needs his safety valve blankie back lol..
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Green Bay Packers will hire Matt LaFleur to be their next head coach, sources told ESPN.
LaFleur spent last season as the Tennessee Titans' offensive coordinator and previously worked under Sean McVay for the Los Angeles Rams and Kyle Shanahan with the Atlanta Falcons.
Both McVay and Shanahan are considered offensive innovators, and the Packers want their next head coach to get quarterback Aaron Rodgers back to an MVP level.
LaFleur, 39, likely impressed the Packers for his most recent work with quarterbacks Jared Goff in Los Angeles and Matt Ryan in Atlanta. Ryan won the NFL's MVP award in 2016 with LaFleur as his quarterbacks coach and Shanahan as the offensive coordinator. That season, Ryan beat the Packers in the NFC Championship Game thanks to an offensive explosion from Ryan and Julio Jones . The Falcons routed the Packers 44-21.
