Because Kavanaugh was going through Supreme Court appointment proceedings and the 2020 presidential campaigns are on ice right now.

Biden will get his time to get roasted. Just like Kavanaugh and Trump before him. And he'll get away with it, guilty or not guilty, just like they did. This will be more of the same.

Biden was interviewed a couple of days ago, a day after the Larry King news hit and wasn’t asked a single question about the allegations or his past, well documented behavior.

Do you really think Kavanaugh got away with it? Virtually every allegation against him is completely unsupported. Every one and all the others are even more outlandish than Ford’s allegations - like Avenatti’s client who claimed Kavanaugh participated in a gang rape of her. And so far it seems all trump got away with is making a crude comment and paying hush money to a porn star in an agreement she willingly negotiated and accepted. I’m not excusing his philandering - that’s a problem - but it’s a much different and lesser problem than sexual assault.

I didn't say he or they have avoided it. Simply shared the link that said when he was going to address it. I don't watch the trash you keep bashing, much like you don't watch the trash that Bob bashes (I presume).

Yeah, I do. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense for that woman to put herself and her family through that circus just to please some cronies in Washington. But she also should've reported it before it was a circus. It is what it is. I find it extremely similiar to the Biden accusation. Giving credence to one and not the other (or vice versa) seems hypocritical. I'm looking forward to hearing more about the Biden accusation(s). Is he truly a piece of shit or is this another Pizzagate? Probably somewhere in the middle.

*edit* I will add that there was not nearly enough proof for the circus that happened at his hearings. The hearings should have centered around his work as a judge, waiting until his appointment hearings to tackle those accusations was political theater.

Not sure what you mean by this, the only thing I really watch with any regularity is the PBS News Hour, but only because it's an old habit from when it was the McNeil Lehrer News Hour. Now it's not much better than MSNBC.

It makes a lot of sense if you're aware that she first went to DNC strategists and purged her anti-Trump vitriol from FB and her other social media outlets before ever going to the press or the authorities. I also don't think it's very similar to the Biden case - First, Reade's incident is far more recent and allegedly happened when both were adults (and sober). Then there's the fact that she told multiple people about it when it happened and identified her attacker to them. She's also a life-long Democrat with seemingly no political axe to grind. Kavanaugh is a rabid leftist with a clear agenda who did none of that - the oldest evidence she has is a journal entry she wrote several years after the supposed attack in which she didn't identify her attacker - something she didn't do until decades later when someone she didn't like was nominated to the Supreme Court. I don't think I'm giving credence to one vs. the other, I'm pointing out the differences in the fact pattern behind the allegations as well as the reporting on them.

Even if I am giving credence to one and not the other, it's not at all hypocritical given the facts above. I'm not even saying CBF wasn't a victim, she very well may have been.

Avid supporter? a bit of stretch and not very relevant to a discussion about accusations against Biden and Kavanaugh. Besides are there credible allegations of sexual assault against Trump? All the allegations I recall came to light after he made the "grab 'em by the p*$$y" remark and they all came and went for a reason - they were mostly made up by partisan hacks. There is very real dirt on Trump and i'm not excusing it, I think it's shameful - but there is a big difference between being a serial philanderer who bought silence from his adult consensual partners and being a sexual assailant/abuser.

Not too long ago Trump's behavior would (and did) automatically disqualify him for me (I supported Ted Cruz in the primary and (regrettably) voted for McMullin in the General). But I fairly recently came to the realization that you can't beat these hypocrites with nice guys like Dole and Romney. sometimes you have to kinda hold your nose and vote for a guy you dislike less than the other person.
