Men Soccer team update

Men beat Titan's on senior night 1-0. 10-4-2 overall and 5-1-1 still in conference.

Indiana and msu tied 1-1 today. Winner of the #9 Maryland vs #18Michigan game wins regular season title and gets the number one seed. A draw and a loss for michigan means the number 4 seed in btt.. if Maryland ties today there will be a three way tie for first place with them Maryland and msu.

Michigan is big ten regular season champions!!!!!! Much deserved as Michigan 2-1 sudden death double ot victory !!!! Michigan dominated the last 20 minutes of regular sesson and had the better chances in both ot's as Maryland goalie saved thier Asses time and time again.

Michigan ends sesson 6-1-1 and 11-4-2 overall and they are the number one seed in btt.

Highlights of Michigan's exciting double overtime 2-1 victory at Maryland who was defending champs to bring the banner back to Ann Arbor for the first time .

Another write up on the title plus the bracket for the btt in which Michigan went from the #4 seed and having to play tough Wisconsin in the opening round to the #1 seed and a first round bye . Michigan gets the winner of the play in game a day after they play between Northwestern and Rutgers. Michigan handled both by the same 3-1 score.

I read men's cross country won the Big Ten championship as well.

that's at least 3 championships this fall.

Michigan beats Northwestern 4-1 in btt quarterfinals and move on to the semifinals to play tough Wisconsin next friday at noon. Team improves to 12-4-2 overall. There was a reason no team wanted to fall to the 4 seed and have to open verses Wisconsin.

Wisconsin at Michigan

Michigan falls to Wisconsin 4-0 in the semifinals and cannot complete the double trophy title grab and fall to 12-5-2 overall. Score is not indicated of how decent the team played. 2nd to Last goal the freaking freshmen goalie slipped and fell on a kick lol. Team had plenty of chances and shots on goal but just couldn't finsh any of them. Dominated time of posessssion and chances but Wisconsin defense held up. Michigan pretty unlucky on a few shots in goal also.. Soccer sucks that way. Wisconsin improves to 10-4-4 and burst someone's bubble. Michigan will still make the ncaa but it will in fact ruin a shot at staying close to home probably.
