Mexico is paying for the Wall!!

I would like to see Shawn Wallace in a serious, non-comedy role.

I don't know about Shawn Wallace but you can see Wallace Shawn in a lot of TV dramas - not major parts, but neither are most of his comedic roles.

He should do serious work under the name Shawn Wallace.

I'm kind of surprised there's been no mention of the Maginot Line.

Radio politics talk I heard today thinks Trump needs to look like he did everything he could do for the wall, but the shutdown needs to end fast, so the quickest way out is to declare an emergency which would end the shutdown and then if the courts say declaring an emergency wasn't legally valid, that's ok because Trump still did everything he could do and his base can blame others for the wall falling through.

it's weird the GOP controlled the Senate AND House his first two years in office, and despite this being a "crisis" he campaigned on, it never got built then.

Almost like this whole thing is just a fucking made up pile of shit... and the people that believe it are extremely stupid and worthless.

He started pushing the issue the instant he lost the power to do anything about it.

Being in the heavy RED state of Arizona this week, most seem to blame the shutdown on the DEMS but at the same time, don't see a need for this wall ...being a state most directly impacted by immigration (illegal and otherwise).

it's not weird at all. Bush had a Republican house and senate for part of his first term and got very little done. Obama had both houses until the midterms and did very little. It's probably more common, at least in my lifetime that major campaign promises don't get done with single party control than the reverse. Plus, both Bush and Obama pretty much had the full backing of their parties, Trump has zero support from across the aisle and resistance from within.

Wow, you know so much!

So I see there's talk about another migrant caravan, but what happened with the old one? Did they march into the US through a space where a wall would have stopped them?

Aren't they still making a mess of Tijuana? I remember reading some were trying to sue the US for entry or $ to pay for the trip back, some were trying to jump the border, others were discouraged and trying to go back home but I think there was still a good number of them sticking around.

If it's still the case that Tijuana is still struggling to handle the mess, it will be interesting to see what Mexico does about this next caravan, if it materializes. I wonder what the thinking is behind this one? Are they encouraged by the Dems taking over the House?

also the "Washington Examiner" ran an article yesterday claiming anonymous "ranchers" discovered "Muslim prayer rugs" on their property.

there are no pictures of the rugs or evidence provided because everyone is afraid of "the cartels" but that didn't stop the Examiner from running the story, or Trump tweeting about it today.

Weird they'd leave their prayer rugs just lying around like that so Cletus Pickens on the boarder, AKA Sherlock Holmes could find them...

Hope they catch these guys before they and the cartels blow up my local shopping mall because they hate my freedom (to incur credit card debt).
