Michigan Hockey Verses Denver 5pm Tonight!

12-4 #3 Michigan getting ripped apart again at home. Down 5-0 in the second period. This will be third big ten loss in a row. This time it's
#11 Minnesota.

Going to lose tonight. A 2-1 game with 11:36 in the third turned into a 5-1 game with 9:46 left.

Michigan lost 6-1

11 penalties on Osu.
9 penalties on Michigan.

Man did it get chippy. Osu is a cheap shot team. Michigan first loss in in big ten on the road.

I think Michigan is missing a bunch of guys and they won?t be available for the Great Lakes tournament either.
 
I was all set for a good Saturday of Michigan basketball and hockey. Man! What a disappointment. First time I was able to watch the hockey team play. Defense looked bad and the goalie turned into a sieve in the 3rd.
 
Great Lakes invitational will be a tad different this year.

HOUGHTON, Mich. -- The 56th annual Great Lakes Invitational will be played in a showcase format at Yost Ice Arena and Munn Ice Arena it was announced Friday (July 23).

On Wednesday, Dec. 29, the University of Michigan ice hockey team will host Michigan Tech at Yost Ice Arena, and Michigan State will host Western Michigan. On Thursday, Dec. 30, the teams will flip opponents with Michigan playing host to WMU and Michigan Tech traveling to East Lansing.

Tickets for the games at Yost Ice Arena and Munn Ice Arena will be available through their respective ticket offices at a later date. Game times, television designations and streaming options also are to be announced.

The two games at Yost Ice Arena will not be a part of the U-M season ticket package. Ticket pricing, sales dates and other information on the GLI at Yost will be announced at a later date.

The 2020 GLI was canceled due to COVID-19.

The 0-0 Tie against Michigan Tech as the first such tie since 1954.
 
#6 Michigan will host defending champions #10 Umass this weekend for two games unless covid postpones them.
 
Michigan scored early and had majority of shots on goal early to go up 1-0 but defense caved in and now it?s 1-1 late first, and now we are
Getting out played, and we miss a short handed breakaway. Kid made no move and tried the five hole not even close.
1-1 after 20 minutes. UMass has a power play that is carrying over.

1-1 end of the second. I missed most of it but last three minutes both teams had chances to score. SOG. Um 25 Umass 21 .
