Trey Burke has been an absolute blessing for this team so far. But when he sits down, they look out of sorts. He makes everything go in terms of breaking down the defense and handling the ball. When he had 4 fouls, and came out for a few minutes, they turned it over and Oakland went on quick mini run.

They don't need a stud backup. They just need a guy who can create a little bit and handle the ball. I don't trust Stu running the 1.

yep. absolutely.

I know we have stauskas, robinson, and mcgary coming in...so that probably means we don't have any spots left, right?

Yes we do... Burke will probably hit the wall sometime in the Big ten season and JB has mentioned he wants to cut Burkes minutes but we really have no other option.. while Akunne is a nice story and can hit some long range shots he is pretty slow and his pocket was pick to easy yesterday bringing the ball up the court. To bad Morris did not stay... This team would be really so much better..

There shouldn't be any more open spots for the 2012 class. There's talk that Stauskus will be able to handle the ball, but Brundidge is probably gonna have to step it up next year if there's going to be any kind of a true backup pg. Derrick Walton will be here in 2013.

I have been disappointed in Brundidge.. I thought he was better.. he seemed lost the few times i saw him out there..

Not everybody is ready to go from day one in college. I figured he'd have an adjustment period, considering his style of play.
