1975: Traded to the Mets for Rusty Staub

1979: Released by Padres and retired

Post retirement: Ran donut shop in Lake Orion, MI

1999: Dropped off HOF ballot

2003: On Vet Committee HOF ballot, but did not achieve enough votes for induction
