Filling out that 40 man roster. Choose 3 middle infielders...

Here is the team so far:

Catcher- Pudge
First base- Hank Greenberg
Second base- Charlie Gehringer
Third base- George Kell
Shortstop- Alan Trammell
RF- Al Kaline
CF- Ty Cobb
LF- Willie Horton

Bench:
Utility- Tony Phillips
Pinch-hitter- Gates Brown
Backup catcher- Bill Freehan
Corner infield -Cecil Fielder, Miguel Cabrera

Pitching:
RHP- Justin Verlander
LHP- Hal Newhouser
The other starters- Mickey Lolich, Jack Morris, and Denny McLain
Closer- Willie Hernandez

I voted for Sweet Lou. Didn't feel like voting for anyone else.

I voted for Kuenn, Sweet Lou and Carlos Because he is a switch hitter. That gives us a right, left, and switch hitter who can play both SS and 2nd.... Like a few others though... Rogell, Bush, polonco, Dick...

Mitch[/color]]Btw, why Easley and freakin' Deivi Cruz but no Peralta?

Peralta has only been here one year. The other two were here for several.

Right now, Whitaker, Kuenn, and Dick McAuliffe

Those are the three I voted for. Lou for obvious reasons, Kuenn was a terrific shortstop linedrive hitter 200 basehits and the original robin yount going from short to the outfield, McAuliffe played both short and 2B with power.
Leaving Polanco and Carlos off was somewhat difficult.
