Miggy's antics

I think the nod to the pitcher is part of good sportsmanship. It's better than breaking your bat after a K because it was the bat's fault.

The pointing to the 1st base ump is a little annoying. Especially when the ump rings up the strike call. I chuckle a little when that happens.

Cabrera has to stop point to the 1B ump when he checks his swing. The call can only go against him. I am baffled that no one in the organization has talked to him about that.

Not as much as he has this year . Every play and every at bat hes doing something . Its just annoying is all

Yes, it is just as much as always.

You're just not used to seeing it because he hasn't played first base in a couple years.

Maybe...nobody speaks Spanish?

It's probably an unbreakable habit at this point, he's been doing it so long.

For all the joy he has brought us over his time here, I say let him appeal whatever he wants.

A batter can't appeal a check swing. But he can call attention to himself by pointing to the base umpire. No other hitter that I have ever seen has done this before.

Next thing you know people here will be bitching that he has too much facial hair or something retarded like that. Miggy can do as he pleases out there as far as I am concerned, he has easily earned that right.
