MikecHart and Karan Higdon

Still hope to see Hart coaching for Michigan someday. He does a great job with RBs everywhere he goes.

Did Hart ever make amends with Harbaugh after the whole "Stanford/Michigan academics" kerfluffle? I know Harbaugh started it, but if I recall correctly, Hart was pretty pointed when he responded.

Compared to everything else, seems like small potatoes being carried downriver by water flowing under a bridge.

I don't think this is an issue to worry about. Jim set it aside when he took on the HC position at Michigan. That video was heartwarming. Great to see that!

oh, I don't think a public apology has to happy, and you're probably right that it's all water under the bridge. I just wondered if anyone had ever addressed that publicly.

I'd also like to see Mike Hart coaching on our sideline someday.

could you imagine if we beat MSU with him on our staff, and he made the little brother comment again? Dantonio would develop a permanent eye twitch whenever he heard the word "Michigan" even if followed by "State"

Mike Hart has mellowed some with regard to that statement.
?How do I feel about it? I was 21,? said Hart, now the running backs coach at Western Michigan. ?That was eight years ago. A long time ago. You grow, you learn.
?You live with what you did. Whatever people say to me I deserve at the end of the day.?

It's kind of hard not to given the results since he left.

I'm all for bringing him back ASAP. The team could use a great RB coach next year when Higdon leaves.

Problem is Jay Harbaugh is our RB coach. Doubt Jim would replace him.

Mike Hart's fortunes lie elsewhere. Good luck to him. Perhaps after he has proved himself as a head coach somewhere, and Jim has decided to retire from Michigan, then Hart could take on the head coach position at Michigan.

Jay has moved around. He started with tight ends. I just figure Mike comes back after Jim is out
