St Louis was amazing when I visited. That's the limits to my experience in Missouri.

it's a small town but it's clean, safe and affordable.

I'm surprised mc dumps on the entire state - I would think the idiots at uofm who held the protest and hunger strike for the fake issues he believes in so fervently would endear him to at least that part of the state.

edit: how small it is depends on where you're from. I was there two weeks ago and went to the cards game with a bunch of guys from work - one was from the sticks in western Illinois and just as I was about to remark about how quiet downtown St. Louis seemed on a Tuesday night he said something about how amazing it was that there was so much going on all the time.
