MSU vs OSU BTT quarterfinal

I wonder what Trice's ft % is in the final 5 minutes of games. I'd bet like 40%

Does John L Smith coach this team once it's a 15 point lead late? Ridiculous.

That's MSU ball! Went off OSU foot and landed on the line before we touched it!

Think we're a 7 seed now if we lose tomorrow, a 6 if we win.

Tough tough win.

Dawson should've had 20+ pts, but had an insane stat line. Flirted with a triple double.

Good win. Now we can sart thinking about seeding. Probably don't fall below a 7 now hopefully. There is some opportunity to move up more too.

Texas Southern won tonight to win the SWAC tourney after winning the regular season title too. They are in the NCAA tourney.

Not such a bad loss considering we didn't have Dawson that game.

No, that was still a bad loss. They will probably be no better than 15 seed and could be in one of the play-in games.

Edit: Actually they haven't qualified yet. They have to win tomorrow.

They're actually pretty good, 22-10 with 8 of their losses coming with their 2 best players out. They are one of those schools that got a few good transfers, they have a couple really highly rated guys that transferred there. Still a bad loss, but not a terrible loss.

Yes they have. The team they play tomorrow is ineligible for the tourney. Southern Texas is in the tourney.

I agree. To me Nebraska is a worse loss (barely) because we were healthy and for 37 minutes of the game we were flat out dominated, the 2 or 3 point loss is deceiving. Also I believe they were down a starter because one got ejected.

That ejection energized them but it also changed the way the game was called. They called us for every little thing after that and we had to sit Costello and schilling for a long time in the first half and ended up down big going into the break. Also, pettaway hit everything in that game.

When I look back on our losses it's the 4 home losses that really stand out.

Texas Southern 129 RPI

Nebraska 152 RPI

Neither are horrible losses.

Wisconsin has a worse loss. Rutgers 175 RPI

Maybe not horrible but certainly bad, losing to Illinois in east Lansing was bad too. It's just surprising to see us go 6-3 at home and also 6-3 on the road.
