MSU vs OSU BTT quarterfinal

It was still a really bad loss. Their RPI is 129 because the RPI is skewed disproportionately now toward teams that play lots of road games (and against those who play lots of home games). Texas Southern had a nice week or two stretch where they beat us, and Kansas State and lost to Auburn by a point. They got blasted against every other decent opponent they played. I would still not expect to see them as any higher than a 15 seed and Lunardi right now has them in a play-in game.

Maybe not horrible but certainly bad, losing to Illinois in east Lansing was bad too. It's just surprising to see us go 6-3 at home and also 6-3 on the road.

Just a weird season. Half our losses have been in OT. Really just a handful of plays(mainly FT's) away from 25-26 wins and looking at a 2-3 seed.

What I think is strange is the team this year had the same record in Big Ten play as last year. Yes, yes, the injuries last year and the Big Ten was stronger.
