NC game, Bama vs Clemson

any thoughts on the game? You'd think Bama would roll after the blowout against us, they're just so good defensively and their offense is pick your poison. they consistently stop the run and get to the qb with almost no blitzing, they can keep their safeties deep and take away your deep routes. The achilles heel that I can think of is a mobile qb so Clemson should be able to compete. If you look at the teams that beat them they usually have a mobile QB, Jones, Manziel, Netwon, etc. Ole Miss was a bit of a fluke considering Bama was -5 in TO's, I'd give a lot of teams a fighting chance +5 in TO's. Bama generally kills pro style teams

still sucks we lost, I would have been waking up in Arizona this morning had we won.

Agree on clemson and I expect a score kind of like them. MSU vs bama reminds me of MSU vs UNC in hoops, we're built the same way but generally a less talented version. that generally doesn't end well for one side, you don't see much success with teams trying to beat them at their own game.

Neither team has much in the way of weaknesses. I've gone back and forth on how legitimate I think Clemson is but they've passed every test so far. They are a spread team that can be physical too. I think Henry will get some yards but have to work for them, and Coker will not be able to beat Clemson's secondary like he did ours.

My gut says Bama. I have seen them play 3 or 4 times. I can honestly say I haven't seen a single play out of Clemson.

I've never been less excited for a national title game in my life. I'll have it on but won't watch intently tonight, the 38-0 demolition pretty much killed my interest in football of all forms until August. I hope Clemson wins but who cares.

Least excited title game for me was LSU-BAMA. I really would like to see Clemson win after living there the last 2 years and my hatred of Alabama.

Alabama is at least 2 deep at every position. Their Dline is absolutely unstoppable. I think the announcers said all 4 are going in the first round. That means they're better than most NFL teams.

Still trying to troll us? I don't think anyone is saying that MSU's offense was better than Clemsons, not the case at all. I will say that Clemson is much better suited to put points on the board against Bama, having a good passer who is a threat to run on every down completely changes things against them.

I guess it was lucky for MSU that the OSU game was played in high winds and rain...it took away OSU's passing game.
