I skipped spelling class that day, excuse the **** out of me!

Yeah, and you know what we did? We implemented a post season ban on ourselves. We didn't slap ourselves on the wrists and call it a day.

I think your missing the point. and also would they have done that if they weren't busted for it? I don't think so.

The Ed Martin basketball scandal ended after the basketball season in 1998. We are currently in 2011. Michigan basketball imposed a 6 scholarship reduction over 3 years and a 1 year postseason ban. Its been almost 10 years since that happened. Ohio* is currently under investigation for multiple scandals and for multiple violations relating to those scandals. Notice the (s) at the end of the word. Michigan basketball cheated over 13 years ago and paid the price...dearly. Ohio* football is currently under investigation for cheating and is still trying to dodge that bullet.

a little off topic here, but where ever it be tOSU or Michigan, reduced schollys are over-rated a bit imo. the people think that when scholarships are taken away, that they are taking away your best players, when in fact it turns out it's the worse players who could have gotten one. , they still are gonna have their best recruits playing for them.

No, because it affects the total picture. 2 scholarships in basketball when you only get 13 is a big deal over 3 years.

Just like 2 in football when you get 85 is a slap on the wrist. A 10 scholarship reduction like USC got affects depth and the perception of the program.

all the name calling of tOSU is a joke. most every school has cheated or lied, they just don't get caught, so before ya'll start ripping on someone else, you might want to look at your own school.

I am recalling the grace and empathy that Buckeye posters had over M's problems and how willingly they took similar advice from some of them.

We will rip on Ohio* with impunity.

Heh....Wikipedia.

I wonder how many OSU diplomas Wikipedia has earned.

*you're

*Capitalize the first letter of a sentence. Only on the rarest of occasions should one start a sentence with "and."

Actually, I'd bet you had perfect attendance at your OSU classes.

The cheaters at O$U are getting off because Mark Emmertt used to work for Gordon Gee.. it is bull-crap how O$U is trying to get a slap on the wrist...But it will happen which is a shame for how much Tre$$el cheated at O$U... win at all costs...He cheated at YSU and he cheated every year at O$U.. from players like Clarett,to Smith to Pryor O$U has been dirty for over 10 years... Woody Hayes wants out of his casketr so he can smack Tre$$el for what he has done to Ohio State.

2002 called and wants its Jim O'Brien basketball scandal, Andy Geiger fired as AD thread back.

Ed Martin....over 20yrs ago....Tattgate, ongoing for at least 10.

But funniest by far is that you had to Google a Wiki-entry on Ed Martin, the once in a lifetime and only M scandal, whereas Ohio's most recent has yet to be ruled on by the NCAA.

Hahahahaha!!!

And you didn't actually graduate from OSU, did you?
