Not sure if y'all received the notice, but I did not.

This is from AnnArbor.com ( http://annarbor.com/sports/um-football/o....otball-season/ )

A "more thorough visual screening process of fans" will include asking people to open jackets or lift pullover jackets before entering the stadium.

Other changes for the 2011 season, which begins Saturday when Western Michigan visits Michigan (3:30 p.m., ABC), include:

Keep it moving: Vehicles are now prohibited from lining up on city or campus streets before parking lots open on the day of games. Parking lot opening times are listed each week on the Game Day page at MGoBlue.com.

Traffic pattern change: After the third quarter, traffic on Kipke Drive will be southbound only toward Stadium.

No Victors Walk: Football players no longer will walk through the parking lot to the locker rooms two hours before games.

What's allowed: The release included a list of permitted and prohibited items fans can bring inside Michigan Stadium.

Permitted Items
Non-pocket seat cushions
Binoculars -- but cases are not allowed
Cell phones and pagers
Small cameras (those without a detatchable lens) and radios
Blankets and rain apparel -- but no umbrellas

Prohibited Items
All bags (including purses)
All bottles (including all types of water bottles)
Containers of any kind (including coolers, thermoses, cups, cans, flasks)
Aerosol and spray cans
Umbrellas and seat backs
Flags and flagpoles
Alcoholic beverages
Food of any kind
Video cameras and tripods
Strollers
Projectile toys (including footballs, Frisbees and beach balls)
Weapons

There is going to be some insanity come 12pm, 9/10.

most of this is no different than prior years except for the southbound traffice on kipke, and checking jackets

People will still line up. Especially on 9/10. I will. If they tell me to move I will drive in circles I guess.

This is the whole on-line parking thing I was talking about. Our crew going tomorrow gets access off Main at 7:30am, 1/2 hour before the normal time ....or so I'm told.

Well, there are a lot more people in Michigan with CCW's now. It doesn't hurt to lay it out.
