New York 130 Detroit 106 Final

I'm actually feeling pretty excited for this. I still expect this team to lose a lot of games (and probably this one), but the young guys are fun. I want to see Cade improving, Ivey and Duren could really be something, and it's not the same slog on both ends of the floor it was last year (at least not ALL THE TIME).

when Cade, Ivey, and Duren are on the court together they should try to play as fast as they can in transition. They should be playing up tempo.

I'm not sure Cade is ever going to be a big transition player (other than as an outlet passer), but I agree. Honestly, anytime Ivey and Duren sre on the court, everyone else should have an eye out with every rebound. Ivey can outrun guys who are already moving back to defense. And Duren can go right over the top of anybody fast enough to keep up with him down the court.

Id really like to see Cade keep attacking the basket. Even in half court sets. Of he can get to the line 8-10 times a game his scoring could really make a big jump. Last year he wasn't getting the calls, but that's not a reason to stop trying.

Team just can?t shoot, and yes I?m worried about it. I wish we had the Knicks head coach.

im hoping its just an early in the year coaching thing.....but theres WAY too many line up changes and it completely throws off the flow of the game. Almost every play someone different is bringing the ball up. Give the ball to Cade or Ivey and let the offense run through them. Stewart shoudnt be allowed to step behind the 3 point line again this year....just stop it.
