A positive note: Jonathan Schoop has been one of the best defensive players in baseball this year. His six Outs Above Average ranks in the 99th percentile. +3 DRS.

Terrific, but really terrible graphic numbers showing how Tigers hitters have done against the fastball to this point.

The Detroit Tigers are off to another slow, poor start. But it's not just about the lack of offense. We've got a list of other factors that are hurting the team - and potentially threatening the rebuild from moving forward.
What is going wrong with the Tigers this year? Let's add disabled lists, defense, disappointments, draft picks, depth - and finally, the duration of the rebuild and the designer of it aka Al Dumb Ass Avila. All are addressed here.
