I voted. Did my duty as a citizen.

I hope this isn't even close, mainly so that it will be over sooner. Not that I expect Trump to concede or go gracefully... he's been profiting off this election by routing all his campaign contributions to businesses he controls, by renting his own office out for his campaign HQ at three times the market rate & other shit like that. He's going to milk this thing for as long as he can.

Hopefully when Fox News is interviewing him later, the boom mic collapses and knocks him unconscious for 24 hours, starting around 5 pm.

I don't think he's going to go away. Assuming he loses, I think he'll launch a cable network.

I know there's been a lot of speculation about that.

I don't see it happening; starting a TV network takes a lot of work and incredible focus. He has shown an inability to do either.

and I don't think he has the money to fund it all by himself. The only hope is some OTHER rich, stupid guy has the money to fund it and wherewithal to launch it, and Trump just has to license his name and make a few endorsements to get it off the ground. That could happen. I still think it's unlikely though.

results have started trickling in with precincts in the back woods of New Hampshire voting first.

Trump took Kentucky and Indiana. Hillary got NH. No surprises there.

Edit: Vermont, not NH.

Also, Wolf Blitzer needs to retire. He might be the most boring news guy I've ever seen.

At my polling place, my neighbor helps out. I voted at 7:14 PM and she said all day long everyone seemed grumpy. Most likely due to the fact that no matter who they are voting for, they find it distasteful.

I seriously hope both parties take a good look at the way this election has gone, and start making changes to their nomination process.

I would have been so happy tonight if Bernie had been on the ballot, instead I'm eating Tums like candy.

The guy operating the map is awesome. Even with Wolf interrupting him unnecessarily he's just firing out info. He was awesome during the primary season too.

Also, Trump might actually win this thing. Holy shit.

Yup you can call it now. It's just a formality. Trump is going to win. I just don't see how Clinton comes back now trailing in all the states she needs to hold on to.

Oh... Oh No...

NOOOOOO>>>>!!!!

So either their intentionally reporting results in a weird way to make this appear to go down to the wire when it's more or less going to be a Hillary win, or Hillary is really going down in flames. Holy fucking shit.

Looks like Trump is going to have both the house and the Senate, and yes she is going down in flames. Democrats will have the least power of all time. A government with no checks is coming it looks like.

Yeah but just last night he said that he was going to have the biggest tax breaks in America history. Bigger then Ronald Reagan. So I am sure those guys will get their money back pretty easy.

This is pretty insane... I'm kicking myself for not taking him at 4-1 odds which I mulled over for some time, although I do have a smaller wager with a huge payout if he wins the popular but loses the electoral. Tomorrow (technically today, I guess) is going to be pretty fucking weird....

After California the popular vote will be close, and he still may lose or win it. So much for polls. I thought the Senate and house would stay republican but thought Clinton would pull out the presidency. He is going to get the keys to everything. I hope whatever Insurance replaces the affordable Health care act has prexisting conditions in it or I'm super screwed lol.
