The Jets tried

Duane Brown has been a solid LT. (Former 1st rounder too)
Vera Tucker is a good RG and first rounder
Bechton is a 1st rounder but also a bust
Laken Tomlinson (former Lions 1st rounder and also had good success with 49ers) added in FA
Connor McGovern decent FA add at center from Denver. And they just drafted a 2nd round center too

The line is not good but they have like 4 former 1st round picks on that line and spent money on Brown/Laken/McGovern. Sometimes it just doesn't work out no matter where you pick

Seems like those were all retreads and guys past their prime but you could be right.Idk. But all the stuff I have read said the offense line was one of the biggest issues with the jets.
