This reminds me of why I'm so sick of people bring up Butt every time the issue of not playing in bowls gets brought up. For every Butt, how many others manage to play in bowls and not get hurt? If Butt hadn't torn his ACL, what excuse would these people use? If the bowls are meaningless, then why play the starters against cupcakes early in the season? You can get hurt in those, too. And lastly, if you're afraid of getting hurt, WHY ARE YOU PLAYING FOOTBALL?
