Pistons 121 Celtics. 114 Final

Up 8 with 5 to play. God I can't stand these Boston announcers, such annoying homers

I forgot we lost at home to the Celtics ... nice revenge game.

Great game by Smith.

Pistons had 4 starters over 20 points and Other stater Smith had 19 points and missed a ft that would have give him 20...

Out rebounded Celtics 52-33 if I heard broadcast team right.

4 Pistons starters all scored over 20 points, the 5th scored 19.
The starters shot 44 of 75 and 7 of 16 from 3 point line.

Watched most of the game during cigar night. All of us could not believe how the pistons kept getting so many shots to fall in that were contested.

Even though it was the second game of back to back, you can't help but think revenge was on their minds after the Celts beat them in Detroit recently.

To us it was a given the Celts would get out rebounded.

Celtic's announcers are great! lol. I think one of them on the radio is Cedric Maxwell. Heinsohn does the Celts home games.
Lucke, if you think the current Celtic's announcers are homers, you never heard Johnny Most the radio voice of the Celts for years.

Kaline, the only team with more ginger announcers that I've heard is the Clippers. The team hasn't done crap, yet their announcers think they're the greatest thing since sliced bread. Giving zero props to any other team and only making excuses for why they think things aren't going their way.

I know and agree with you....Have listened and experience first hand the announcers for the four major sports here in boston...trickles over to the sports on the news/weather/sports for each day.
Can't stand many of the red sox, patriots, and bruins announcers through the years, but the Celtics are the only team I root for.

Years ago when we moved here, Dad worked for years in the building next to the old boston garden and the Celtics front offices were also located in the building 150 Causeway St. Saturdays, I would take the bus and train to North Station, have lunch with dad and then go up to where he worked. Many times I would get to see some of the old Celtics from the late 50's and early 60's up there. Always kind to a kid of 10 and older, Cousy, Sam and KC Jones, Havlicek, and it stuck with me.
