I?m super excited with the new roster. The front office did a great job for how svg handcuffed them. We got somewhat younger and better in my opinion. More athletic I think. Both Bone and Louis King were signed to two way contracts. The kid we got for Bullock Myklickiuk May be real gem.

We picked up Rose, Morris, Snell,, Frazier, Mykhailiuk, and our draft picks for
Leuer, Ellington, Smith, Robinson lll, Cauldron.

Losing Smith is true only real blow. No way is Ellington worth what the Knicks paid him in my opinion.

Pistons top draft pick out with a hammy issue.
 
Pistons beat Croatia 96-80. Doumbouya didn?t play do to a hammy issue. Thomas had 26 points. Mykhailiuk had 17 points and 5 assist, and 6 turnovers.Brown had 12 points and 7 assists. Pistons had a nice first quarter built up a nice lead only to get smoked in the second quarter. Trailed 46-42
At half. Pistons lead 67-61 at the end of three.

Thomas has 7 three pointers. He was 7-14 .

Games were postponed at the Thomas and Mack in the 4th quarter of the Knick verses Pelicans game . Players felt it and looked up. It was strange But weirdly at the Cox building the games will continue.

Game Two
.Blazers verses Pistons.
Pistons lead 33-19 end of one. Pistons have rained a bunch of threes to start this game.
Pistons let Blazers back into the game in the 2nd quarter they lead 50-43 at half. Blazers cut lead to 4 but a run to end the quarter pushes Pistons lead back to 11 points 68-57. End of three. Pistons 14 Point run has open up a big lead in the 4th, and roll to a easy win. Final score is Detroit 93 Blazers 73 Final. Wire to wire. pistons are 2-0 in the Summer league. Brown had a double double 17/10 Mykhailiuk had 18 and 4 assists.
Team was 15-41 from three.

I just saw a little kid wearing a Pistons T-shirt with a freaking Michael Jordan Nike swoosh symbol.

Pistons improved to 3-0 with a 102-84 thumping of the Indiana Pacers. 17-0 run to start the second quarter put the game away. Matt Costello lead the Pistons with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Jarrod Uthoff had 17 points 3 rebounds, and 3 blocks, 4 steals.
Brown had 14/10/6 and 2 steals. Hall has 11 points 6 rebounds and 4 blocks.
Mykhailiuk had 10 points 6 assists but also 4 to. Thomas has 10 points 3 assist and 4 steals. Pistons had 6 players in double figures. Team was a crisp 11-27 from three 40% .
Draft pick Sirvydis who I have been hard on was 2-2 from three with in nine minutes.
Bone played and looked athletic but did not hit the score book. Box score is missing his stats. 6 points, 4 assists, 2:steals. They missed it in the box score below.
He looks good to me.

Game 4
Pistons improve to 4-0. Beating 76ers 96-81 Brown had the Summers first triple double scoring 11 points collecting 14 rebounds and dishing out 10 dimes. Costello had another fine game with 18 and 7. I think top 8 records in summer play for the title. The Pistons had 11 steals and 7 blocks. Again for some reason the box score did not have Bone?s stats in there . He played fin and scored 13 points on 4-10 shooting and 2-3 from three.

The Pistons will be one of 8 teams that play in the quarterfinals starting Saturday. With winning all four games by double Digits they my get the top seed. We will not know the opponent until after today’s games. The teams after the top 8 we also have a tournament.

Celtics did it again by getting Edwards. He is averaging 19 a game 21-39 shooting. I like the

Damn Brown out for this game and rest of Summer league . At least we get to see Bone step in and assumedly get heavy minutes .

I am unsure about what I see in Sekou. I?m being hard but he is so not ready for playing defense in the nba. Hopefully it will come. Nets tore him up when they were on offense. I my opinion he didn?t look un-trade-able tonight and a NBA draft steal. Package him up with Jackson and get Beal if possible.
I may be missing something N. He looked small . He has a nice shot though.

Sirvydis is a wasted pick. I would rather have Edwards. Why grab a kid that is light years away from the NBA . I?d rather have Iggy or Roby or anyone. Guess we will know in 3 years. Weird pick taking a project like this.

Piston just were not the same without Brown tonight. On both offense and defense. Nets guards were way better then the Piston guards tonight. I am just not sure about Thomas.
7-18 and 1-6 from three. Maybe time to move him.
