Game 1. At NY. Verlander verses CC Sabathia.
Games 2. At NY. Fister verses Nova.

Game 3 At Detroit. Garcia verses Scherzer.
Game 4 At Detroit. Sabathia verses Porcello. ?

Game 5 At New York Verlander Verse Nova.

Heard it on the radio can anyone confirm this...

Garcia is 18-8 lifetime verses the Tigers with a 3.88 era. he is 8-5 at Comerica with a 3.82 era. he is a soft tosser something the Tigers have trouble with sometimes.

Pitching match ups look great. Unfortunately so does the Yankee line up....should be a good series!

If that roto sked holds true, then I could envision both teams losing both games @ home, and winning both games on the road, setting up game 5 @ Yankees, with the Tigers emerging victorious, but in a relatively low-scoring, see-saw game, tied after the 9th and then going into several extra innings...

If the Tigers don't average 5 or 6 runs on nights where CC isn't pitching it will be VERY disappointing. Asking them to score often against these 2 in the playoffs isnt asking too much I don't think. The Yankee will need lumber to win a world series this year. 1 slump and they're done imo.

Bingo..Me too.

Oh, game 4 will be a must win - there's no doubt about it.[/quote:tymny4n6]

There might not be a game 4. We win every pitching matchup up to that point. Don't sell the Tiger's Line up short.
