I'm heading to Pittsburgh on Friday to catch the Friday and Saturday games...might do Sunday too since it's Verlander's start. If we blow the series you can blame my presence. :bat:

Have fun and stay safe.. Hopefully they can win a few games for you..

Have a safe round trip Elrod. Hope you bring the Tigers Good Luck.

Pittsburgh is said to have a real nice ballpark.

Thanks KC...it is absolutely beautiful...and if you ever make it let me know. There's a cigar bar across the street from the stadiums and I've got a guy there who will take good care of you!

I hope the "good" Scherzer shows up on Saturday...

I'm not one to be optimistic, but the Tigers *could* have a chance at gaining the division lead in that series.

Off to the 'Burgh! Have a good weekend, I'll try to take pics Mitch....

This thread was so nice until the name, Delmon, had to pop up :/

But hope you have fun and have safe travels. PNC is such a beautiful park. I love going there to watch games.

I obviously brought no luck to the squad, but did have a great time. I scalped some nosebleeds for Friday, but had great seats on Saturday. My buddy who owns the bar by the stadiums hooked it up! I did boo Delmon every time he came to the plate. It was kind of funny because the entire stadium booed Prince every at-bat (I'm guessing because he was a Brewer?), then immediately following one guy in a Tigers jersey (me) was booing Delmon, I don't think the Bucco fans got it, but they did enjoy it. Hopefully you could hear me on the TV broadcasts.

Tiger fans represented well. Saw a lot of jerseys out there. Mostly Fielder and Cabrera, a few Boesch's, a few Pudges. Saw quite a few Robertson's (who thought that was a good idea?). My three favorites though were the Trammell, the Gibson, and the Whitaker one I was wearing. Surprised I didn't see a Kaline and not many JV's although they might've been saving them for Sunday. Saturday had a strong chant of "Let's Go Tigers" right before Peralta barely missed tying the game. Friday night met a couple fans back at the bar that actually came in from Rochester, NY. One was a Michigan transplant and the other a Rochester native who chose the Tigers as a kid to be different from the annoying Yankee fans. All in all a good time, but disappointing on the field outcomes.

Sounds like you had a nice time. Did you manage Sundays game?

Didn't make Sunday's game. Found out the one year old was ill so I thought it best to get back ASAP. Drove home early Sunday morning. Which is probably why they won on Sunday...

Hope you're baby is okay.

Thanks Mitch! She's fine, just her second bout of hand, foot, mouth disease. Pretty common in babies in this area. She's back to being herself.

On a side note I'll be in Baltimore on July 15th for that game. Could be bad news for us...

That's good to here.

I was at Camden yards their 2nd year in existence. Their club seats, great place to sit. Its a nice ballpark.
