Porcello to step up tomorrow and be the ace stopper.

With Sale pitching we could see G-Money.... and Cringe together again.... Yikes...

I normally do not drink on Sundays but Yikes could lead to Gulps and to an early night, and nightmare. Kinda wish you hadn't posted or I had missed your post. I worried about todays game now. Read elsewhere Inge would start at second. And yea it's Sunday so Avila should set today. The real night mare would have Raburn in at DH so the Tigers could have the auto outs of the lower three in the lineup back as they had in 2010. Good Grief I'm almost out of Southern Comfort Gee

im more worried about the bats right now than tomorrows pitching.

Here's a statement most of us didn't think we'd be making at the beginning of the year.

Still scratching my head over the lack of thump in the opening two games of this series. I mean Peavy and Floyd...not exactly Johnson and Schilling.

From the portions of saturdays game I watched, Tigers batters got themselves out for chasing so many pitches out of the strike zone. very impatient at bats imo.

Are there statement games in the second week of the season? Nice to see Porcello off to a good start.

Statement: I'm still the same guy!!!

13-10
4.65 ERA
200 innings
109 K
1.38 WHIP

I agree for the most part, don't think he'll have quite that many losses, though. ERA closer to 4.30

Don't think he's ever going to have an ERA under 4 for the simple fact that he's probably always going to have a handful of starts like Saturday. But if 3 out of 4 of his starts are like the first few of this season, I'll be happy.
