Pretty Damn Impresive

They get credit for playing well for 3 games and they deserve that....just be sure not to mention the giants are awful, Carolina had 1 threat and we couldn't stop it and gb is ranked 28th in offense....tony might get mad....

Giants improved last week. Olsen had 72 yards and 0 TDs and Benjamin is a threat (one big catch he had) and we'll see if the Packers end up 28th on the year. Long season to go but a great start.

I'm sure Jets, Buffalo and Vikings offense aren't impressive enough for you either.

It's good too see them as the #2 scoring defense, it's why we are 2-1. #22 offense needs pick it up.

I think the play of Suh and Fairly is a huge reason for the success of the defense so far. Sucks one or both will be gone next year.

Ummm... You do realize that the Buffalo offense is 23rd in total offense, and Minnesota is 29th, right?

Jets? Geno? Really?

Buffalo goes as Manual goes...with good run game possibilities.

Vikings? No AP and Bridgewater is still a rook.

And we will dominate them and through 6 weeks have great D stats. But the haters will still hate.

I thought entire season didn't matter, it only matters how hot they are when we play them. Green Bay offense was struggling when they came into Detroit, therefore shutting them down is not impressive. Giants looked horrible the game after, Carolina had a QB at 75% playing his first regular season game of the season with all new WRs. Huge advantage Detroit.

Lions have had the benefit of playing teams when they are down..no real test yet.

And Pittsburgh, who boasts a below average defense, went into Carolina and made them look basically pedestrian until the 4th quarter. Need to put things into perspective.

LOL

That is only an excuse FOR the Lions!

Offenses with a new Ocord should show improvement....wish ours would

Olsen had 72 yards, running game was obsolete and Benjamin had 1 "big" catch.....like I said....all we had to do is stop Olsen.

Packers offense has started the season as one of the worst offenses in the league.

Jets offense is pathedic, I like Buffalo but EJ is NOT a good qb, Min is garbage.

So ya....our defense should look great thru the first half the season. Lets see hoe we fare against Matt Ryan, Tom Brady and Brees. Cutler under Tressman has improved. We still have a loooong way to go to prove were a #1 ranked defense. I gave themcredit for being #1 thru the first 3 weeks....you just always fail to see those things cause you have a hard time reading it seems.

For me....the only thing "impressive" thing about this stretch is that weve done it while dealing with the adversity of all these injuries and guys names Gorrer and Seisay in our secondary. We will see the effects of Tulloch being out...imo he was one of the very few irreplaceable guys on our team.

Benjamin and their run game are weapons. Of course you don't understand that.

Lions will show plenty of improvement on offense. And haven't been bad as you have said either. Moved the ball well, dominated TOP Week 3, big Week 1.

Dominating the next 3 weeks and GB has a good offense. Rodgers is better than Brees and Ryan and certainly Cutler. Brady looked like garbage against Oakland. I have no worries about any of those 5 games or the 6th in Lambeau.

:hitter:
Carolina is 20th in total offense. Oops. Good try though.

Their run game and Benjamin are clearly weapons. As is Olsen. There is clearly more than one person to stop. Detroit stopped run game and Benjmain. 70 yards is a decent day for their top target, nothing more.

3 games, who cares

Wake me up after the bye week

You'd care if they were ranked poorly I'm sure. Everyone on this board would be all over that. People care than Ebron hasn't produced in 3 games. Who cares right?

Actually I wouldn't.

3 games isn't enough to assess this team, not even individual players. Proclaiming anything or anyone great or terrible at this point is foolish. I'll prefer the wait and see approach, there's less to talk about, but also less pointless bickering. We have no clue where an opponent will be a couple months from now, we don't know if Lombardi will get Ebron more involved in the offense. Ebron might end up being a great pick, GB might end up being dogshit the whole season, time will tell.

Like I said, wake me up after the bye week.

I thought sacks weren't important...it is all about the QB pressures!

Sacks are good too. Consistent pressure is more important though. Gets you picks like we had against Eli by Glover Quin. Hurry son.
