Pretty Damn Impresive

Hoping Fairley can continue beasting it. The refs don't hate him yet like Suh, right?

agree with the doubters, sold on the run stopping not sold yet on the pass stopping, think they have just gotten lucky catching NY and GB at good times. I am not convinced this will last, just don't see how they can consistently keep this up with such a banged up backfield, just a fluke so far I fear.. but do I hope to be wrong.

They get credit for playing well for 3 games and they deserve that....just be sure not to mention the giants are awful, Carolina had 1 threat and we couldn't stop it and gb is ranked 28th in offense....tony might get mad....

Mad? I laugh at your stupidity lol.

Giants are underrated ...they tore apart a good D in Houston

Carolina has more than one threat also. What's Newton? Is he shit all of a sudden? And Benjamin is a horse. Also, Olsen never really killed us. We lost that game on carelessness and a kicker who's selling shoes now.

Rankings mean shit when it comes to Aaron Rodgers. He's one of the best if not THEE best QB in the league.

Time to recognize.

Actually I wouldn't.

3 games isn't enough to assess this team, not even individual players. Proclaiming anything or anyone great or terrible at this point is foolish. I'll prefer the wait and see approach, there's less to talk about, but also less pointless bickering. We have no clue where an opponent will be a couple months from now, we don't know if Lombardi will get Ebron more involved in the offense. Ebron might end up being a great pick, GB might end up being dogshit the whole season, time will tell.

Like I said, wake me up after the bye week.

K guys debate is over. "Rankings mean shit " so detroit being ranked first is meaningless....you heard it from tony first!

Talking about Aaron Rodgers, genius. Everybody on the planet (except you of course) knows that he's the man and stopping him and that offense is a chore in itself. But to completely shut them down is impressive to say the least. That's a top 5 offense and you know it.

Honest, we don't know yet. It's only been 3 games. I thought going into 2013 Eli would put up good numbers..we see how that worked out, eh?

So rankings mean shit when they refer to Rodgers. But do mean shit when they refer to our defense. But dont mean shit when they refer to every other offense we play against that has been awful. Yaaaaaaaa, totally not a homer tony lol...not at all lmao.

I agree! I'm just happy we are playing well on D. If this offense starts clicking?? Look out!!

And Eli is shredding it tonight.

Homer??? Are you high?? I never said this D was a top 5 D. I predicted middle of the pack, maybe a tad better. But when it comes to Rodgers and that offense, THEY ARE NOT a 28th ranking on paper. That's a top 5 offense all day. They're just in a funk. All im saying is that its very impressive to shut down one of the best. Rank us #1 all you want. I dont give a shit..

And the Giants are shredding apart the Redskins right now. lol

Well, I am going to say it.. and I said it before.. I think this D could be top 5.

I've said for years the best way to make a secondary look elite is to put more pressure on the QB, and that's exactly what our D-line is doing.

If they continue to penetrate the way they have been, this defense can remain number 1 even with all the injuries. It starts up front.

And after more than half a century of bad luck, the law of averages says we have to catch some breaks sooner or later.

Hughes wrong again. Giants offense good, lions defense elite

Eli is having an ok day lol wow.

Side note - picked him up in fantasy because Peyton is on a bye. Guy I'm playing has Donnell though. Laughing and crying at the same time...

Guy in our league benched Knile Davis for the week against NE and started Donnell at flex.

... I want to know where he bought HIS magic 8-ball, cause that move made ZERO sense before this game started.

I had Pita so I needed a TE. Only decent TEs available were Kelce and Donnell. I picked them both up thinking I would play matchups and thinking Kelce may be a stud down the road. Played Donnell this week!

Another TD Pittsburgh against Carolina.

What exactly is this? Are we going back to the future to retroactively pump our team up? They are good. Because Eli is throwing TDs against Washington doesn't suddenly make him elite and make the Lions look that much better.

And bolt of lightning... Weren't you talking all off-season how total shit Eli was? Now that offense is good? Good lord you are the king of the flip flop, it's making my head hurt.

Elisha Manning could have thrown 12 TDs last night, he still wouldn't be even average in my book.

Peyton's little sister has declined every year for the last three years, and it's only getting worse with this new hand signal play call bullshit in New York.

If he doesn't throw 40 picks this season, it will be a miracle.

I hope Eli keeps it together and has a good year. But I see some 3-4 INT games in his future.
