Some of the metro Detroit Catholic Schools have specific policies against upper class-men transfers. Philosophy being that if you didn't get your 9th and/or 10th grade education there, you'll have a difficult time with the continuity to the upper class curriculum.
So if you're not there by 10th grade, you simply won't get admitted.
