A young African American lady was in the office last week.

Her first name is spelled: L'-A
(yes, EXACTLY like that, with both punctuation marks)

Let's see if anyone can properly pronounce her name, spell it phoenetically. ie: Eugene would be Yoo-Jeen, Daniel would be Dan-Yul

I'll start off- Lah is not correct.

M&B-- LMAO.

wrong and wrong.

nope and nope.

M&B was on the right track.

La dash Ah

DING! DING! DING!

L'-A is pronounced: LA-DASH-AH

:lmao:

I had heard jokes like this, but never actually witnessed one.
Just wanted to share. >:D

Everybody that guessed wrong has to drink!

Interesting. Today, I met the second person in my life named Shitonya, and yes, that is the correct spelling. Who names their kid shit-on-ya ? Stupid people being stupid.

Didn't someone name their kid Espn years back and get a bunch of press from it?

It's really more Luh DASH aH.

L' is pronounced as on L'Miserables.
