I just read that he will have accrued 5 years of ML service time on June 8. Meaning if they want to send him to the minors, without having to first clear waivers, now is the time. Just a thought.

I think we will learn alot about the management once Jackson returns to the lineup. If they send Berry down and keep Raburn that would prove to me that they have a secondary agenda besides winning games.

I would hope that they would either send down Raburn or Worth to make room for Jackson, (preferably Raburn) but who knows what the suit and ties will decide.

He can still be optioned, but he must "constent" after he gets 5 years. If he doesn't consent, then they have to release him or keep him on the active roster.

just like he did yesterday to steal Ernie's famous quote " He stood there like the house along side the road, and watched that go by". MGMT. should do the same with Rabum.

But he's a 2nd half hitter.

And he looked really close to turning it around yesterday.....

What secondary agenda?

Berry cannot play second base. Danny worth can, but has almost no upside over what were seeing right now. Santiago can, but is not hitting, and his defense has been horrible.

Raburn will probably get hot and hit in the second half, the problem is he may not make it to the second half to get hot.

Another thing people are overlooking is now that he's done well, Berry might make decent trade stock, and be a big part of filling out hole at 2B.

Berry is not the answer to our problems right now. The Tigers don't need another AAAA outfielder, they need a 2B. Raburn should be sent down, I agree with that, but Berry doesn't solve the 2B issue.

I can't wait to hear you guys bitch and complain how Berry isn't hitting after a week or so.

We just need to start playing Raburn verses LHP if we are going to keep him past June 8th for awhile and see if he can break out of it his prolong slump... In 2011 he had 6 homers in the second half last season and some were very important and some were not.. But of his last 7 homers last year from July 7th on six of the seven were off of LHP... Just a idea I guess...

Berry is a rookie callup. If people bitch about him, they're clueless.

Raburn on the other hand is a whole other box of marbles. He's fn garbage and deserves the ribbing.

We all get that. Then send him back down once he starts sucking?

I just wish we had an option down there that could play 2B. Even a little bit.
