Detroit had the second largest group of fans in the survey, and boy are they pissed. Of all the fan bases, they have the least amount of confidence in what Ken Holland and co. are doing. It seems that the good will earned from The Streak is mostly over in Detroit. A look at their cap situation and who they?ve committed big money to is bleak ? and they gave most of those players no trade clauses, too. The Wings had 25 seasons of success, but there are dark times ahead with little confidence from anyone that the crew at the helm can steer the ship out of it.
