Rays @ Tigers 9-7-15 Game #137

booce somehow doesn't blow it Tigers hang on to win

Good news..the Tigers won't lose 100 games this year!

STREAKS AND STATS:

Rajai Davis' home run in the third inning marked his fifth of the season, and his first since Aug. 19 vs. the Cubs when he went 2-for-4. It's the first two-RBI day for Davis since he hit a two-run homer on Aug. 8 vs. the Red Sox.

Andrew Romine singled in the fourth inning, snapping an 0-for-16 skid. His stolen base marked his eighth of the season.

Rajai Davis' two home runs in the third and seventh innings was just his second career two-homer day. His first one was on May 18, 2012 vs. the Mets when he was with the Blue Jays.

Miguel Cabrera was intentionally walked for the 16th time this season in the seventh inning, still the most in MLB. He missed six weeks with an injury and he still has the lead.

Ian Kinsler had yet another multi-hit game, with a single in the first and a double in the seventh. It's his 53rd multi-hit game of the season.
