Link. (hilariously written by a graduate of "Palm Beach Atlantic University," one of those small insulated christian enclave colleges where you can go to have your worldviews reinforced, instead of challenged):
All that footage you've seen in 1960's montages about civil rights activists getting murdered, beaten by police & attacked by police dogs, blasted with fire hoses... you'd be surprised to learn that those activists were just confused. there actually were no racial problems... they were just causing trouble for no reason.
If they would've just gone back to sharecropping, not voting, not complaining about living in a segregated society, gone to Yale Law School (ironically getting accepted through affirmative action, and later arguing against affirmative action when they no longer stood to benefit from it) adopted Conservative political opinions that defended segregation, voter disenfranchisement, and slavery, then they would get invitations to speak at places like Palm Beach Atlantic University.
"Speaking at Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Fla., Thomas, the second black justice to serve on the court, lamented what he considers a society that is more ?conscious? of racial differences than it was when he grew up in segregated Georgia in the days before ? and during ? the civil rights era."
...
?The worst I have been treated was by northern liberal elites. The absolute worst I have ever been treated,? Thomas said. ?The worst things that have been done to me, the worst things that have been said about me, by northern liberal elites, not by the people of Savannah, Georgia.?
Put that in your pipe and smoke it, Northern Liberal Elites....
