I thought it deserves more than being added to "Cory Perry is a God Damn, Dirty Filthy Mother Fuckin' Piece of Shit."

Wow! Great job of finally holding onto the Lead in last minute when it felt like another blown two goal lead to send it to OT. Instead they wrap it up and move on, and playing without some key guys too.

Absolutely phenomenal job of coaching and guys getting their act together when it matters. Still have a very tough road ahead and still cannot say this team looks or feels like a SC team, but that just makes this series win more impressive to me.

We got the lead and I was not going to jinx it by posting on the board during the game...Go wings!@!!!

Babs deserves coach of the year after winning this series, especially after all the injuries. Watching the highlights, Selanne got away with a pretty obvious trip on Smith to lead to a 2 on 1 after they both overskated the puck.

Bring on the Hawks! I didn't expect them to win this series, but I loved every second of it.

???

Doesn't San Jose go up against the LA Kings?

Hopefully...the Wings will take on one of those two teams in the Western Conference Finals.

While that is true, they don't usually start conference finals nor SC finals at 10PM EST. 9PM should be worst to deal with from here out, but that hour is a big difference the next morning.

Of course their will still be late starts next year when they make a west coast trip during inter-conference play, but they will be far fewer. Definitely looking forward to that;however, they now will be in competition for time with the new York, Boston, Philly, and other major market east coast teams, so they might actually be seen less frequently on the national networks unfortunately, unless they are playing one of those bigger market teams. Thankfully Red Wing Nation is very big, so maybe...MAYBE...the network idiots will actually understand that while the city market might be smaller, the national market is far bigger. But that implies the network heads have brains.

Congrats Red Wings on advancing!!

.Beat the blackhawks!!
