Retractable roofs

I agree with the retractable roofs. Here in AZ the D Backs games are always pleasant. Often, they will open the roof if/when the weather gets cooler. No way should Detroit, ChiTown, Minnesota or Cleveland have open air fields. Too much rain, too many very cold nights.

It was not an issue until the season expanded in both directions as Rebbiv pointed out. But it would cost all the gold in the FED branch in NYC to retrofit a roof over Comerica. So we're going to have to just dress warmer.

I am all for shortening the season.. It just will not happen. So maybe we need to develop a team that can sustain in cold weather. Last two WS we have been in proved we are a terrible cold weather team.. They talked all about how we had the advantage over the Giants because of the cold weather in Detroit and i know just about everyone on this board was rolling their eyes and laughing at it.. Our players are not good in cold weather... Last two freaking series we were huge favorites and fall flat on our faces.. You have to look AT SOMETHING THAT CAUSES OUR HITTERS TO FREEZE UP :)
